ouroboros

i am reborn again
&again my
toes crawl up
to my eyes&
plunge
fractals apart

i am a snake eating its own tail
i am eve saying yes and fucking herself silly on her fingers

sibilance cries
make me whole
again, whole again

w/ pupils blown —

coming
full circle .

hypnotize, hypno
tize me
( moan )

wonder why—?
snakes aren’t real
             have no legs
             sit themselves in circles
instead of straight lines .

we take after one another

sure venus is beautiful but
can she sustain
life ?

is she sterile ?
w/ her poisonous gases and all

or is she just afraid someone’ll get too close ?

[wall cloud
           tornadoes come down]

she did it to herself
and momma earth’s taking notes —
no matter how she gives we
can find more to take
from her, and she’s ready for
poison
to become a very scary word .

leftover lady

we are gas tanks —
to be filled and emptied and filled
and used

until spoiled//
spilled ,
&very very unclean

Alexis Diano Sikorski is a melodramatic queer Filipina-American dog mom, and all she wants is a really good massage. Her work has appeared in The Collapsar, Burning House Press, Moonchild Magazine, Vagabond City, Bombus Press, Queen Mobs Teahouse, Sigma Tau Delta’s The Rectangle, and more. She’s a bit of a crybaby, reads way too much fanfiction, and likes looking out of airplane windows. There’s a 98% chance she’s daydreaming right now. @Sikorskidear
